Entry requirements:
For English Language proficiency IELTS or TOEFL are required before the Institutions confirm the admissions. The IELTS is organized by the British Council and the results take 2-3 weeks. The minimum score usually required are 5.5 to 7.0 for IELTS and 200 to 250 (CBT) for TOEFL.

Most of the Universities do not require a GMAT score for MBA programs. However some exceptional Business schools like the London Business School and Warrick Business school do ask for a good GMAT score, in addition to IELTS or TOEFL scores and work experience of 3-5 years at a Management level, in addition to decent academic performance at the Bachelor's level.

Working rights for Students:

The UK allows the international students to work part time depending on the kind of course they have chosen as well as the type of Institution they are studying with. The following table will give you a fair idea as to which students are allowed to work and for how many hours.

Permanent Residency:
A student needs to convert their student visas into a Tier 2 Work Permit. This is possible only if the student is able to get a confirmed job with an employer in UK. Moreover the Employer would have to apply for the students work permit. Usually the work permits are issued for a duration of 60 months.
